Funds that are invested with NGE go to support community-based organizations including small businesses, nonprofits, municipal buildings, health clinics, youth organizations, churches and schools.  We believe that green energy means local job creation, improved energy stability, and a better environment. 

Your Investment at Work:

Boston Green Building, Inc (BGB), located in Allston, MA is an example of a green energy project that Renewable Energy Investment Notes made a reality. BGB specializes in sustainable contracting, and wanted to build a 3.8KW solar photovoltaic (PV) array that would generate clean energy and eliminate over 110,000 lbs of carbon emissions.

NGE supports all types of renewable energy, including solar, wind, biomass, and geothermal. We support efficiency improvement because it is often the most cost effective way to reduce fossil fuel use, and we support local energy production because it eliminates wasteful losses during transmission, and provides community access to affordable clean energy.
